“Tammy”, as she was affectionately known, was born in New Orleans to Glen and Margaret Brauer on October 21, 1966. She graduated from Marion Abramson High School in 1984, after which she worked for several years as a successful accountant at the New Orleans Firemen’s Federal Credit Union. As her family grew, she turned her focus to her children and became a stay-at-home mom. She was a devoted mother to her three children, a role model for her two younger sisters, and a great friend to her “clowns” (her three best friends of 40 plus years – Jennifer, Kim, and Shelly).
Tammy took great pride in her Italian heritage, which was most reflected in her love for cooking—something that always brought her family together. She lived her life with a compassionate and fun-loving spirit. Tammy enjoyed being surrounded by friends and family most in life and will be missed by so many.
Tammy is preceded in death by her parents, Glen N. Brauer and Margaret L. Brauer, and first husband, Glynn P. Acy, Jr.
Tammy is survived by her three children, Glynn P. Acy, III, Erin A. Ramos (Philip), and Kiersten P. Craig; partner, An Tran; second husband, Andrew N. Craig; two sisters, Donna Coombs (Chris) and Rochell Dawson (Stephen); grandsons, Lucien P. Acy and Philip J. Ramos; and step-father Jerry Thedy.
