Teresita Elena Moresco-Rivette, age 73, of Metairie, Louisiana, passed away on Monday, May 26, 2025. She was preceded in death by her parents, Enrique Moresco (Tito) and Maria Elena Beatriz Villegas Moresco (Perla). Tessie is the loving sister to Enrique Moresco, Maria del Carmen Moresco, Susana Beatriz Moresco, and Francisco Moresco. She was married to Christopher Rivette from 1987 until 1998, and their two children survive her, Renee Stephanie Rivette and Robin Jamie Rivette. She is also survived by five nephews, three nieces, two great-nephews and two great-nieces.
Tessie was born in New York City on February 13, 1952, and raised in many places as the daughter of an Argentine Diplomat. She resided in Metairie for over 40 years. She graduated from St. James Major High School in 1971. She graduated from the National University of Asunción, Paraguay with a B.A. in ESL. She taught ESL at Delgado Community College from 1985 to 1987. She was devoted to her family, and her greatest joy was spending time with them.
