Thaddeus Ray Erato

Devoted husband of 67 years to Loraine Allen Erato and loving father of Elaine Erato Bauer (George), Thais Erato Sperandeo (Darrell) and Dr. Thaddeus Erato, Jr. (Mona).

Proud grandfather of Andrea Crespo, Christian Bauer, Melanie Martin, Thad Erato, Ellinore Erato and Chloe Erato. Great grandfather of Mason Martin.

Son of the late Jeanne Causin Erato and Stephen Erato. Preceded in death his brothers and sisters, John, Madolyn, Will Warren, Doris and Joyce.

Age 90, a native of New Orleans, LA and a resident of St. Bernard Parish.

Ray was a retired plumber with the Local 60 Plumbers Union for more than 60 years. He enjoyed cooking for the family gatherings and was a Grand Knight of the Knights of Columbus, Jannsen Council.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Funeral Mass at St. Christopher the Martyr Catholic Church, 309 Manson Ave., Metairie, LA 70001 on Friday, January 25, 2013 at 11:30 am. Visitation from 10:30 am until funeral time. Interment in St. Louis #3, New Orleans, LA.
