Timothy Gerard Lynch passed away peacefully, in his sleep, on December 28, 2020, at home in Metairie, at the age of 69. He was born on September 17, 1951 in New Orleans to the late James John Lynch, Jr. and the late Marjorie Robinson Lynch.

He is survived by his three children, Lotus “Angel” Bernich Lee (Dellwood), Olga “Michelle” Lynch Wedge (Daniel), and Timothy Gerard Lynch, Jr. (Carys), his grandchildren Frank Dellwood Lee, III (Elise), Daniel George Wedge, IV, Timothy Gerard Lynch, III, Adalind Marjorie Lynch, and 2 great-grandchildren. He is also survived by his siblings, James John Lynch, III, Patrick Michael Lynch (Lee), and Gerilyn Lynch Brouphy (Barry), his devoted niece, Shannon Brouphy Dufrene (Jason), and several other nieces and nephews. Timothy is preceded in death by his father, mother, aunts, uncles, cousins, and his nephew, Patrick Michael Lynch, Jr.

Timothy was a 1970 graduate of Redemptorist High School and then attended LSUNO. He was an employee of Pelican Pool & Patio Specialties for 43 years. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus, Marquette Council #1437, and the Ancient Order of Hibernians, Cardinal Gibbons Division. He was also a member of the Fun and Frolic Softball Club. Timothy loved carnival and was previously a member of the Krewe of Endymion, Krewe of Centurions, and Krewe of Sinbad. While a member of Sinbad, he served as an officer and reigned as Sultan II in 1991.

Timothy had a heart larger than life, and would do anything for anyone. He will be dearly missed by many.

A funeral service will be held on Saturday, January 9, 2021 at St. Ann Church, 3601 Transcontinental Dr. Metairie, LA. Visitation will be held from 10:00 A.M. – 11:00 A.M. with mass immediately following.
