Tina Esther Stansbury Miller

Sunrise May 22, 1932 – Sunset April 13, 2013. Tina Esther Stansbury Miller, a resident of Kenner, LA, died on Saturday, April 13, 2013 at 11:00 AM after a long illness. She was 80 years old. Preceded in death by her mother, Mary Trapani Stansbury of New Orleans; her father, James Leo Stansbury of Morgan City; her brother, Frank Leo Stansbury and her sister, Una Rose Stansbury. She is survived by her husband of 57 years, Henry L. Miller, Jr., two daughters, Deborah M. Blakesley (Kerry) and Tina A. Miller (Glenn); two granddaughters, Amy and Michelle Blakesley; a sister, Laura Russo; two brothers, Lawrence Stansbury and James Stansbury; sister-in-law Alice Mae Martin of Covington and many nieces and nephews. Mrs. Miller will be sadly missed by all. Mrs. Miller worked until retirement at Roosevelt Middle School in Kenner and at the New Orleans Superdome in security. She was a parishioner of Divine Mercy Church in Kenner. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the visitation at Leitz-Eagan Funeral Home, 4747 Veterans Blvd., near Clearview Pkwy., in Metairie, LA on Wednesday, April 17, 2013 beginning at 10:00 AM with a Funeral Mass to follow at 1:00 PM.
