Warren Douglas Day

Warren Douglas Day, age 36, went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, December 31, 2013. Warren was born on October 16, 1977 in Miami, FL. He was a former resident of Daytona Beach, FL and has been a resident of Metairie, LA for the past 20 years. Beloved son of Dr. Bill Day, Jr. and Peggy Shannon Day. Brother of Richard Day. Uncle of Alisa Day and Brandon Martin. Grandson of Margaret Shannon and the late Joe F. Shannon, Bill Day, Sr. and Angie Day. Also survived by aunts, uncles, cousins and many friends. Warren was a student of Marine Biology at U.N.O and was an avid skateboarder who was greatly admired as a role model by many fellow skateboarders and friends. He was a loving son, brother and uncle and was a faithful friend who was loved by many people all over the country. Warren enjoyed life to the fullest and will be deeply missed by everyone whose lives he touched. He was a member of the Parkview Baptist Church. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the visitation at Parkview Baptist Church, 6301 Camphor Street, Metairie, LA 70003 on Monday morning, January 6, 2014 beginning at 9:00 AM with a funeral service to follow at 11:00 AM.
