He was preceded in death by his parents, Althee Jung and Frederick Robert Duplantier and by six siblings, Crozet, Leon, Earl, Adrian, Louis and Yvonne Duplantier Pugh. He is survived by his sister, Audrey Duplantier Cerise, his sister- in-law, Sally Duplantier and many nieces and nephews.
He leaves behind his longtime friends, Beverly Herbert Sessions and Susan Herbert Viener. Special gratitude to his caretakers and nursing staff at Woldenberg Village, specifically, Ivory, Curtis and Betty. Friends from St. Francis Villa, Westminister Towers and Woldenberg Village are invited to attend his Funeral Mass on Friday, March 4, 2022 at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of Jesuit High School., 4133 Banks St., New Orleans, LA. Interment will be private at a later date.
