William "Bill" Thomas Rando

William “Bill” Thomas Rando went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, February 15, 2014. Beloved husband of the late Shirley Dauzat Rando. Father of Michelle Evans, Monica Scavo and Bill Rando. Step-Father of Greg LaCombe and Chalaine Downs. Paw Paw of Adam, Cathy, Danny, Tina, Johnny, Jonathon, Cheyandan, Joshua, Tiffany and Henry. Great grandfather of Clayton, Patsie and Hunter. Brother of Brenda Adams and Roy Rando. Son of the late Dominick Rando and Louise Cook Rando. “Brud-N-Law” of Freddie Adams. Also survived by his special guardian angel, Jessica Achee and many nieces and nephews. Mr. Rando was a U.S. Army veteran. He retired from Rheem Manufacturing and was an excellent salesman. He was a member of the Louisiana Prairieville Flea Market, was an avid fisherman and lived life to the fullest. Mr. Rando was deeply loved and will be greatly missed by everyone whose lives he touched. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the visitation at Leitz-Eagan Funeral Home, 4747 Veterans Blvd., near Clearview Pkwy., in Metairie, LA on Wednesday, February 19, 2013 beginning at 10:00 AM with a Funeral Mass to follow at 1:00 PM in Leitz-Eagan Funeral Home’s chapel.
