
Amancio Victor Suarez, 89, of Miami Beach, Florida, passed away peacefully on February 20, 2026. Born on June 15, 1936, in Cuba, Amancio lived a long and meaningful life devoted to his family, community, and heritage.
Amancio was a proud Cuban and a respected businessman, known as the owner of Radio Mambí, a station that served as an important voice for the Cuban-American community. Through his leadership, dedication, and vision, he helped foster connection, culture, and conversation for generations of listeners. His work reflected his deep love for his homeland and his unwavering commitment to preserving Cuban traditions and values in his adopted country.
Beyond his professional accomplishments, Amancio will be remembered most for his strength of character, generosity, and devotion to his family. He was a guiding presence, offering wisdom, encouragement, and unconditional love to those fortunate enough to know him. His legacy lives on in the lives he touched, the community he helped build, and the family he cherished.
A visitation will be held on Tuesday, February 24, 2026, from 5:00 p.m. through the night at Caballero Rivero Little Havana, 3344 SW 8th Street, Miami, FL 33135.
The committal service will take place on Wednesday, February 25, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. at Caballero Rivero Woodlawn North, 3260 SW 8th Street, Miami, FL 33135.
