Born on November 2, 1937, in Santiago de Cuba, Cuba, Ana Gloria Castro was the daughter of Enrique Urivazo and Teresa de Jesus Codorniu. Throughout her life, she was known for her compassion, high spirits, hard work, and dedication to her family.
Ana Gloria Castro graduated from “La Normal de Kindergarten” and went on to work as a schoolteacher. Upon emigrating with her family to the United States in 1971, she worked at many occupations, including teacher’s aide, seamstress, and ultimately, supervisor of housekeeping at various health care facilities. Along with her husband Danilo, she liked to spend time with family and to travel, particularly cruising to Europe and Latin America.
She is survived by her husband of 66 years Renan Danilo Castro and by her daughters Ana Maria Castro and Gloria Lynch. Ana Gloria Castro was preceded in death by her sons Danilo Dario Castro and David Enrique Castro.
