

Arturo Martin Zamora, born in Jinotega, Nicaragua, November 7, 1965, son of Silvia Elena Rivera de Zamora and Juan Arturo Zamora Blandon, died December 5, 2022. Arturo is survived by his loving parents, sisters Silvia Leonor, Claudia Helena, and Ivania Carolina, nephew Francisco Arturo, niece Ivania Victoria and nephew Logan Scott Lorenzo, as well as brother in laws Ronald and Mario. He was preceded in death by his cherished sister Rosa Ernestina.
Arturo went by his nickname Cowboy. He was full of joy and had a zest for life. He was the life of the party and loved music - always dancing, going to heavy metal concerts, operas, and symphonies. Arturo was also very passionate about fútbol (soccer) and loved his UM Hurricanes.
Arturo had countless friends whom he was loyal to and loved. He was also loved by many because his spirit was infectious. His charisma and persona were unmatched. He was one of a kind, blending characteristics of intelligence, energy, friendship, courage, humility, kindness, and generosity - willing to give the shirt off his back to anyone in need - that his family and friends will always remember. He added to the lives of everyone who had the privilege of knowing him. His legacy will live on in the hearts and minds of everyone who knew him.
A visitation for Arturo will be held Friday, December 16, 2022 from 5:00 PM to 11:00 PM at Caballero Rivero Little Havana, 3344 SW 8TH ST, MIAMI, FL 33135. A funeral mass will occur Saturday, December 17, 2022 from 1:15 PM to 2:15 PM at St. Michael the Archangel Catholic Church, 2987 W. Flagler St., Miami, FL 33125. An emtombment will occur.
