We will never forget you sweet little Danny.

When someone you LOVE deeply passes you never quite get over it.  You just learn to slowly go on without them, but always keeping them tucked safely in your heart.

My words fail to express how sorry I am for your loss of Danny.  I pray you will find some comfort, peace and strength, especially today.

Years ago,  when the family visited us in Virginia , Danny was in awe of the wild animals in the country,  especially the red foxes that roamed our land.  He had so many thoughtful and intelligent questions for Allen,   he so loved animals.  What an empathetic and kind heart Danny had. 

Danny and Ricky, brothers so close in age were like twins in many ways.   They took such good care of each other.

My heartfelt condolences, I will be praying for the entire family for peace and comfort during this very difficult time.  Hugs and blessings.  

Daniel will always hold such a special place in my heart. I remember reading to him in  his early years of elementary school. He always had his full focus on the books that I read. I loved watching him grow into a middle school student, and I was especially tickled that he wanted to be my media aide.  Daniel was the best media aide any library media specialist  could ask for. He kept his shelf in perfect order, and took such pride in the job that he did. He loved to help students find books and check them out. I truly admired his skills that he possessed at such a young age. When I changed career paths and went back into the classroom, I was so excited that Daniel followed and became my teacher assistant. Again, every job he did, he took such pride in his work and truly cared. He used to love going out to recess and watch the kids play, but, what touched my heart the most, though Daniel was shy, he connected with my students. He really helped students when they didn't understand math, and he also became very involved whenever we had a science experiment . My absolute favorite memory with Daniel was on Veterans Day. Daniel heard my lesson and asked if he could share something with the class. I was pretty shocked because Daniel always talked with 1 or 2 students at a time but never requested to initiate a lesson with the entire class. What happened next had my jaw dropping, Daniel passionately told the story of a soldier during the Korean War. It was a story he heard the previous week about our principal's father. He had the interest of everyone who listened, including myself. At that moment, I told Daniel that he would make an excellent teacher. I truly meant that, as I know that his retelling touched the lives of every student and person in my classroom, including myself.

To Daniel's family, and Richard, my other student, I send you a great big hug of support and my family's deepest sympathies. You  are in our prayers.

Rest in Peace Daniel. You will be missed.
