Diana Carmen Gomez, a beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and cherished member of a large, loving family, passed away peacefully on September 24, 2025, at the age of 90.
Diana was born on May 11, 1935, in Cuba to her loving parents, Modesto Diaz and Dolores Bueno. Her life was a testament to resilience, grace, and unwavering love for her family. She carried with her the warmth of her heritage and the strength of generations before her, always offering kindness and wisdom to those around her.
She is survived by her devoted son, Nestor De La Torre; her treasured granddaughter, Chelsea; and her adored great-grandson, who brought her immense joy in her later years. Diana’s legacy also lives on in the hearts of many nieces, nephews, cousins, and countless other family members and friends who were blessed to know her.
Diana’s memory will forever be cherished. Her presence brought light and comfort to those around her, and she will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.
