Dulce Maria Solis was born on September 10, 1925 in Matanzas, Cuba, and passed away on August 17, 2020. She will be greatly missed by her two children, Arnaldo and Ana, her grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and many other loved ones. She is predeceased by her husband, Reinaldo.
She was the only one of her brothers and sisters to attend the university and become a teacher. When the family left Cuba in 1967, they went to live in Newark, New Jersey until 1976 when they moved to Miami, Florida. She always had a love for the arts and instilled that in her children. Therefore, one of her favorite pastimes was going to the theater and in her later years enjoyed being an audience member of her favorite shows: Sabado Gigante and Casos de Familia. She loved eating ice cream at all hours, and always danced to the beat of her own drum.
