How can I find the words to express what you meant to me and to my kids? You are my bestest friend, my sister. Godmother and auntie to my kids. KK is their cousin, my God daughter, my niece. We are not family by blood but from the heart. The best kind of family because it wasn't imposed on us, we chose it. We have been through so much together. So many mile stones. So many memories made. We always planned to go to the old folks home together and "give them hell!" We were going to "run that place." Who is going to have my back now?  The only consolation I have is that you are no longer in pain and you are finally reunited with your dad again.

Dear Estrella, I met you at SFACS a few years ago.  You were always the most welcoming mom, both to us parents and to our kiddos.  Your relentless optimism, positivity and kindness were so inspiring to me. You never let anything bring you down and were an example of love and courage  to each and everyone of us.  Your warmth and welcoming smile are unforgettable! We will dearly miss your presence at SFACS, but you will always be in our hearts!   My heartfelt condolences to your loving family and friends. 

Estrella,  loosing such a bright light is not easy to comprehend, you are still a bright star to many of us, I will always treasure you and Kayla, I will be there for Kayla always, thank  you for always being honest, for always being there for many of us, te quiero mucho, one day we will see each other again, until then cuidanos mucho, siempre ilumina nuestro camino, keep reminding me to smile more, duele mucho que ya no estés con nosotros, live you always  ❤

You’ve always been one of my favorite people, and it hurts so much knowing that our time making memories together is done. Thank you for being a part of my life Star and helping make life brighter even in the darkest times. I’m very heartbroken 💔 to hear this news about Estrella’s passing. Not that long ago she had made a comment on something I had posted on IG something we shared in common. She was a really great person and I have fond memories of our time back in High School. I enjoyed watching all the pics she posted on IG about her life along with her family and I could definitely relate to having a child with Autism. She was a great mother. She will be missed dearly, my deepest condolences to her family. May she Rest In Peace now!! Fly with the Angels Star!!

This picture was taken at Samantha's First Communion.  Samantha was so happy that the three of you were at her party.  It was the last time we saw you.  I'm  so glad it was under happy circumstances and that we were able to tell you that we loved you.   I'll never forget your love, humor, and support when I,  too,  became a special needs mom.   You were a special  human being, an amazing mom, loving daughter and sister.  We will never forget you and will miss you always!  Keep shining, Estrellita (Star)!

One of Estrella most cherished moments are when our daughter's Kayla and Kassandra were all decked out for each year of their high school experience. Also all the other events we went to for playdates for our beautiful girls to just hangout as best friends do. 

I've known Star for as long as I can remember, over 30 years. She was always very light hearted and fun to be around. The perfect person to have over at a party or family gathering. I am truly going to miss her good vibes and positive energy.  

Always an adventure with Star! Loved our moments we shared and so much fun we had! Miss you Estrellita.. RIP my beautiful friend..
