Eugene Charles Gordon, beloved husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, and friend, passed away peacefully on August 10, 2025, at the age of 82. Born on June 29, 1943, in New York, New York, Eugene carried the indomitable spirit of his hometown throughout his life.

A longtime resident of Miami Beach, Florida, Eugene lived with vitality, curiosity, and a boundless love for life. Young at heart and endlessly full of energy, he was truly a force of nature. As many who knew him have said, “He was the strongest person I knew.”

Eugene was married to Ileana Bravo-Gordon, with whom he shared many joyful years. He was the proud father of three children—Scott L. Gordon, Christopher M. Gordon, and Alexandra D. Gordon—whom he raised with love and unwavering dedication. He was a devoted grandfather to Matthew, Aidan, Kikka, and Ellinka, and treasured his role as great-grandfather to Sophie.

Professionally, Eugene was the CEO and executive of his own financial corporation for decades—a role in which he earned immense respect and admiration. His leadership, vision, and integrity left a lasting legacy in the financial world, and he was regarded as a pillar of strength and wisdom by colleagues and clients alike.

An avid sportsman, Eugene found joy, peace, and connection through golf, skiing, and tennis—pursuits that not only brought him happiness but also lifelong friendships and unforgettable adventures.
