Mrs. Gertrude Commini, 86,passed into the arms of Jesus, and of her loving husband of 56 years who pre-deceased her by a year to make ready for their Heavenly sojourn. She was surrounded by family and loved ones. She is survived by four children; Candy, Michael, Jerry and Dan; 11 grandchildren, and four great grandchildren; her brother, Allen and many cousins, nieces, and nephews.
Trudy, as she was known to family and friends, was very active in the community, serving on the board of elections, various ladies groups, the Lion's Club, the South Florida chapter of the Blinded Veterans Association, through her church, and as a missionary with her husband to the city where she lived, as well as through many states here in the USA She also served as treasurer for a bowling league and won many trophies and awards for her bowling skills.. Together, she and her husband Michael, ministered to many people leading them to personal relationships with their Lord, Jesus Christ.
