Haydee Rodriguez

Haydee Rodriguez has returned to be with Our Eternal Father and loved ones in the spiritual plane. She passed on April 24, 2025 at the age of 97, in South Miami, Florida. She was born in June 9, 1927 in Bogota, Colombia, South America. She had 3 sisters and 2 brothers.

Her parents were Luis Enrique and Ana Maria Bolivar.

She was married to Benjamin Rodriguez Barrera for 72 years at the time of her passing. Benjamin passed on August 1, 2001.

They had 5 sons and 1 daughter: Leonardo, Carlos, Alex, Benjamin, Ivan and Margarita.

She lived in Bogota Colombia until 1958 and worked as an executive secretary at the Social Security offices.

In 1958 she, at the age of 31, she along with her mother in law and 3 young children traveled to Miami, Florida where Benjamin had moved a year earlier and they established permanent residency in the United States. She worked as a seamstress upon arriving in America. At night she studied English, Patternmaking and became a Medical Assistant. She loved music, to dance and to drink coffee.

She is a spiritist and along with her husband, co-founded the Bezerra De Menezes Spiritist Center on April 18, 1985, 40 years ago.

She is survived by her children, grandchildren, a younger sister and brother who live in Colombia, and many nieces and nephews.
