Isabel M. Proenza

Isabel M. Proenza, age 87, passed away on Thursday, June 26, 2025. Born on July 2, 1937, in Cuba, Isabel carried with her the strength, warmth, and vibrant spirit of her heritage throughout her life. She was a beloved mother, grandmother, and friend, known for her unwavering love, kindness, and dedication to her family and community.

Isabel made her home in Miami, Florida, where she built a life filled with love, tradition, and resilience. She had a deep love for the beach and she found great happiness spending time there with her loved ones. Isabel loved to sing and often filled her home with song and laughter.

Her presence brought comfort and joy to those who knew her, and her memory will live on in the hearts of all who loved her.

A visitation in her honor will be held on Monday, June 30, 2025, from 5:00 pm to 12:00 am at Caballero Rivero Little Havana, 3344 SW 8th Street, Miami, FL 33135. A burial service will follow on Tuesday, July 1, 2025, at 1:00 pm at Memorial Plan Flagler Memorial Park, 5301 W Flagler Street, Miami, FL 33134.

Isabel will be dearly missed, but her legacy of love, strength, and grace will continue to inspire all who were fortunate enough to know her.
