Beloved husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather - a man of courage and integrity he came to the United States not by choice but he made it his home. A simple country boy from Cuba who exemplifies the incredible tenacity and desire to succeed of the Cuban exile community.

Always proud of his roots Abuelo could sing his "decimas" and roast pig in the "Caja China" like no one else.

This man was not rich, he was not famous but he was an incredible father, husband and friend.

His family always came first- whenever any of us needed his help, no matter what, he was always the first one there.

He fought the good fight and now rests with his family in heaven. Forever in our hearts - we love you Pipo!

Amado esposo, padre, abuelo y bisabuelo - un hombre de coraje e integridad que, a pesar de haber tenido que emigrar a los Estados Unidos, supo hacer un hogar de su nuevo país. Un sencillo campesino cubano que sirve de ejemplo de la increíble tenacidad y deseo de triunfar de la comunidad cubana en el exilio.

Siempre orgulloso de sus raíces, nadie cantaba ‘décimas’ ni asaba cerdo en ‘caja china’ mejor que Abuelo.

Este hombre no era rico, no era famoso, pero era un padre, marido y amigo increíble.

Siempre puso a su familia primero cuando alguno de nosotros necesitó su ayuda, sin importar lo que fuera: él siempre era el primero en llegar.

La batalla fue dura, pero ahora descansa con su familia en el Cielo.
