May 1, 1933 – April 12, 2026
Kai Wah (Francis) Tsang, 92, of Weston, Florida, passed away peacefully on April 12, 2026, surrounded by his loving family. He is survived by his wife, Vera, of 59 years; his four children, Maylin, Julie (Neil), Susanne (Phillip), and Raymond (Connie); brother Joseph (Linda); sisters Jenny (Gladdy) and Kaye; and six grandchildren – Justin, Zachary, Aaron, Isabella, Kaiya, and Mari.
Born in Malaysia, he later lived in Hong Kong before immigrating to Jamaica. In 1977, he moved his family to Miami in search of better opportunities and a brighter future.
He was a loving husband, father, brother, Gung Gung, uncle, and dear friend to many. He will be deeply missed and forever remembered for his selflessness, love, strength, and determination. He found joy in fishing, cruising, traveling, and playing slot machines, and especially cherished the time he spent with his family, grandchildren, and friends. He loved to cook and watch cooking shows. May his memory live on in the hearts of all who knew him; his smile will remain with us always; and may he rest in eternal peace.
A visitation and memorial service will be held Friday, April 24, 2026, from 9:30 AM – 12:00 PM, at Caballero Rivero Woodlawn South, 11655 SW 117th Avenue, Miami, FL 33186, followed by the burial at Our Lady of Mercy Catholic Cemetery at 11411 NW 25th Street, Doral, FL 33172, at 12:30 PM.
