Ken was so friendly to a young insurance broker- helpful to introduce me to other nurserymen - where did he find time with all those kids ? A LIFE WELL LIVED 

I am writing for all the Tenn family who have shared a bond and connection  with the entire Lee clan from the time the Tenns and Lees arrived in Jamaica.  
From our shared Christmases and family events in Linstead or Spanish Town to the family outings at Dunn's River or Puerto Seco, our joint history is part of our families' DNA.   
Uncle Kenny came to embody all the things the Lees represent and whenever I am in the company of Lees, I always see his imprint... successful, fun loving, zany, uninhibited, unafraid to try new things, risk takers with  big ideas, lovers of life  who always look out for each other.  He was such a force of life that it is hard to imagine the void that will surely be felt by all .
He was so proud of all his children, grandchildren and great grandchildren and I was always touched that he was also proud of ours.  I loved listening to his stories about what it was like to raise 14 children…. I did not realize that the boys did not have their own clothes growing up because clothes was a communal commodity and the only time they got their own clothes was when they left home to get married….that is so hilarious.  
I still have a voice message from him that I have saved on my home phone for several years now as whenever I listen to it I feel his energy and I feel so upbeat after.
It was the time he was “inviting himself” to thanksgiving dinner as they were coming to Canada around thanksgiving time (as if they needed an invitation) and he promised not to eat too much and to behave himself. 
To me Uncle Kenny and Auntie Valerie have always been the perfect couple who moved in lock step with each other and to me they were ageless.  His/their legacy is not just the dynasty of Lees they have  left us but Uncle Kenny showed us how to live life to its fullest....and gosh could he dance like no one was watching.

To The Lee Family and Specially to Mrs Lee I will Miss Him Very Much. A very Special Friend and A great Man ,Great Father and a Great Husband. Not enough good things can be said about our Uncle Kenny, he was one of a kind, a wonderful family man, a extraordinary human and blessed with a loving personality and a great sense of humor. 
But he was more than that, he was brilliant and led by example. It was Henry Longfellow in one of his famous quotes best describes the mettle of Uncle Kenny.
“The heights by great men reached and kept were not attained by sudden flight but they while their companions slept, were toiling upward in the night.”
For Norinne and myself Uncle Kenny is still with us, in our hearts and in our minds and will always be remembered just a change of address.

Ken Lee has left a wonderful legacy. He was a vibrant, well thought of gentleman who considered all of his children his best friends. I admired the way he took his family on cruises so everyone could enjoy each other’s company. He will be missed and remembered by many.

I am finding it difficult to condense 76 years of memories in a short tribute, so forgive  me if I seem to ramble.

Uncle Ken was my favourite uncle, always full of fun, patience, and generosity.  He had a remarkable way of making even the most dire situations feel small.  I remember when the boys did the most outlandish misdemeanours his comment would be “What do you call to a man like this” - or some variation of that.

Both he and Auntie Valerie taught me the value of a strong family bond.  There was never a time I did not feel loved and protected.
Growing up in a large family was the most enduring memory that I have. The trifecta of Auntie B. Gigi and Uncle Ken always had us going on the most memorable adventures.

Even though I did not live in Miami, he made many trips up here and Pickering was always on the tour agenda.  I will always be grateful to him for the many opportunities he gave my Mom and Dad to visit places I can only dream to visit.

Bobby, thank you for orchestrating my last phone call to him. It gave me a final chance to express my love and appreciation for his many gifts to me.  It gave me some closure, but I will never forget my Uncle Ken 

 Ken was one of a kind, and I am so honored to have known him and worked with him (and the family) for so many years.  He meant the world to me, and I will always remember who and what he was and what he meant to his family and those who were fortunate to work with him.  Ken will be missed, but my memories of him will be everlasting.

Two great men have passed on the same day, one being my oldest brother, Russell, Susan Lee's father and the other great man whom I've met many times, Ken Lee, Bobby  Lee's father, both great men were 91 years old when they passed.

To my beloved Uncle Ken:  

Words cannot begin to describe all the incredible monumental things you have accomplished as a husband, father, business owner, entrepreneur, and a mentor to many.  Leading by example and being truly the ultimate provider for the family is only just the beginning but it is your loving care and humbleness that you had shared with your loving wife Aunt Valerie that provided the foundation for it all to becoming successful.  As a young child then, to now a grown man married with children that I really began to fully understand that it is not always all the big things that matter, but the little important things that makes all the difference.   

Some of my most favorite memories I’d like to share are...  You and Aunt Valerie hosting all the family cruises throughout the years...  for getting up early to make breakfast for our fishing trips to the Keys... for you bravely pitching at our Sunday softball games while Aunt Valerie remained safely at home… for taking us to Wet-N-Wild water park in Orlando... for hosting all the Sunday dinners that Aunt Valerie prepared that I always enjoyed.

It has been 46+ years that I have known the Lee Family… and I thank both you and Aunt Valerie so much for including me as part of the family.   

Miss you Uncle Ken – You will always be remembered in my heart.
