Maria Ham Wong, 90, peacefully passed away on Friday May 28, 2021 in Pembroke Pines, Florida. Her funeral service and celebration of life will be held on Friday June 4th, 2021 from 9am-1:30pm at Caballero Rivero Woodlawn South.
Maria was born on September 03, 1930 in Taishan, China. In her spare time, she loved to spend time with her family, cook, and watch nature videos. She was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother who is fondly remembered for her strength, contagious laugh, and making sure everyone’s bellies were full. She is survived by her children, their spouses, and lovingly remembered by her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Her family would like to express gratitude to the care given by VITAS Healthcare and Memorial Hospital West. In lieu of flowers, friends may make memorial contributions to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
