Marie Francoise Borgella Pierre-Louis

Marie Francoise Borgella Pierre-Louis, age 61, died at Jackson Memorial Hospital in Miami, FL, on Tuesday, January 12, 2016 at 2:41AM. The cause of her death was due to Pulmonary Veno-Occlusive Disease a chronic and fatal type of pulmonary disease.

Born November 4, 1954, in Jacmel, Haiti. From Jacmel, she then moved to Port-au-Prince, where she completed her studies and married her surviving husband Serge Pierre-Louis. She is also survived by her three (3) children: Pascale Pierre-Louis; Serge Francois Pierre-Louis; Farah Elizabeth Pierre-Louis and two (2) grandchildren: Taleeyah Rose Pierre-louis & Zahirah Francoise Pierre-louis. She is preceded in death by her father, Joseph David; her mother, Derisna Borgella; and her brother, Jean-Claude Jean-Charles. She was a business owner until retiring in 2015.

Viewing service will be held at Caballero Rivero Coral Gables Funeral Home from 9am-11am on Saturday, January 23, located at 1717 SW 37th Ave Miami, FL 33145.

Funeral Mass will follow at Our Lady of Mercy Catholic Cemetery located at 11411 NW 25th, Miami, FL 33172 from 12pm – 2pm. Burial will be held at the same location.

A reception will follow at a place to be determined from 2pm-6pm.
