

Migdalia Digna Acosta, age 101, passed away peacefully at her home in Miami, Florida, on July 10, 2026.
Born on August 8, 1924, in Perico, Matanzas, Cuba, Migdalia was the beloved daughter of Angelina García and Matías Acosta.
Migdalia was known for her kind heart, gentle spirit, and unwavering devotion to her family. She was a source of love, strength, and compassion to everyone who knew her. Throughout her life, she cherished her family above all else, she adored her siblings and helped raise several of her nieces and nephews as if they were her own children. Her generosity, warmth, and selfless nature left a lasting impression on all whose lives she touched.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Julian González. She was also preceded in death by her brothers Matías Acosta, Orestes Acosta, Martín Acosta, and Osvaldo Acosta, and by her sisters Haydee Acosta and Nery Alzugaray.
Migdalia is survived by her sisters Yolanda Sousa, Mirella Pérez, and Juana Espinosa, along with many beloved nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends who will forever cherish her memory and the love she shared so freely.
Migdalia's kindness, compassion, and dedication to her family will never be forgotten. She leaves behind a legacy of unconditional love, generosity, and quiet strength that will continue to inspire all who knew her. Though she will be deeply missed, her memory will live on forever in the hearts of her family and friends.
Visitation will be held at Caballero Rivero Woodlawn South, 11655 SW 117TH AVE, MIAMI, FL 33186, US, on July 16, 2026, from 5:00 pm to 10:00 pm.
A Committal Service will take place at Caballero Rivero Woodlawn South, 11655 SW 117th Ave, Miami, FL 33186, US, on July 17, 2026, from 11:30 am to 12:00 pm.
