Nimia Bofill, 92, was born in Cuba on January 25, 1934, and passed away on April 23, 2026. A longtime resident of Miami, Florida, Nimia will be remembered with deep respect and enduring affection by all who were blessed to know her.
Nimia was married for 75 year to the love her life Jorge Bofill. In that steadfast devotion, many saw the quiet strength that carried her through life—resilient in spirit, gentle in manner, and unwavering in the care she gave to those around her.
She found meaning and comfort in the simple, beautiful rhythms of home: sewing, cooking, flowers, and gardening. In these everyday pursuits, her thoughtful nature and generous heart were evident—offered not for recognition, but from a selfless desire to nurture, provide, and bring warmth to others.
