Phyllis was born in Kowloon, Hong Kong, on February 26, 1930 to Philip and Christine Young,
the 8th of 11 children.
She migrated to May Pen, Jamaica, in 1948 where she was reunited with her parents after ten
years. That same year, she met the love of her life Louis Chang. After five years of courtship,
they were married on August 30, 1953. They had four children, Arlene, Neil, Christopher and
Lilimarie.
In 1976 they migrated to Miami, FL. Louis passed away in 2011.
She is survived by her children Arlene, Neil, Christopher (Sue Ann), Lilimarie (Brian). Loving
grandmother of Amanda (Alex), Kayla, Kelsey, Nicholas and Dylan. Also, two great
grandchildren Aiden and Aliya.
Phyllis enjoyed life and lived it to the fullest. We will miss her dearly and she will be in our
hearts forever.

A visitation for Phyllis will be held Friday, June 23, 2023 from 6:00 PM to 11:00 PM at 9547 - Caballero Rivero Woodlawn South, 11655 SW 117 Ave, Miami, Florida 33186.
Repast will be held on Saturday, June 24th, at 2pm. 15150 SW 164th Terrace. Casual attire.
