

Teresa Sassi, a wise, resilient, hard-working, loyal, generous, humorous, gentle, devoted, beloved, and brave woman, passed away on September 8, 2025, at the age of 86. Born on January 3, 1939, in El Callao, Peru, Teresa was a resident of Davie, Florida.
Teresa received her early education at Colegio Catolico San Antonio. She dedicated 20 years of service as an administrative assistant at Jackson Memorial before retiring. Teresa was married to her husband, Francesco, for 23 years until his passing in 1987. She is survived by her two sons, Francesco and Bruno, and her three grandchildren, Isabella, Alyssa, and Joseph.
Teresa had a passion for sewing and crocheting and enjoyed reading Daniel Steele books. She was actively involved in her local community center and was a cherished member of a knitting club. Known for her organization, security, honesty, and thoughtfulness, Teresa adored spending time with her granddaughter Isabella.
Throughout her life, Teresa worked tirelessly and made sacrifices for her children and grandchildren. Her strong values and loyalty were evident to all who knew her. Her family expresses deep gratitude to those who assisted with her care during her final days, acknowledging the profound impact of their support.
A visitation will be held at Caballero Rivero Westchester, located at 8200 BIRD RD, Miami, FL, 33155, on September 12, 2025, from 5:00 pm to 10:00 pm.
Teresa's love and wisdom will be deeply missed by her family, who cherish the memories of her saying, "I love you like the whole world" to her granddaughter Isabella. Her legacy of encouragement and love endures, as she often reminded her family that anything is possible with determination. Teresa's family will forever remember her gentle humor, as exemplified by her enjoyment of a nonalcoholic beer shortly before her passing, exclaiming, "Que Rico."
