

Anna Marie Dils, 93, of Miamisburg, Ohio passed away on April 26, 2017 at Sycamore Health Center. She was born on December 31, 1923 in Dayton, Ohio to Francis Richard Klein and Minnie Belle (Freeland) Klein. Marie was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 53 years, Roger Glenn Dils, her parents Francis & Minnie Belle Klein, in-laws Earl & Frances Dils, son-in-law Jerry Bentley, siblings-in-law William Raabe, Robert (Nedra) Dils, Betty (Gerry) Horne, Maynard Dils and nephew David Horne. She is survived by her sister Jean Raabe, sister-in-law Barbara Dils; children Suzanne Bentley, Connie (David) Jones and Richard (Martha) Dils; grandchildren Angie (Robert) Bowman, Carrie (Adam) Reed, Nicholas Grugin and Sara Bentley; great grandchildren Amanda (Brian) Hamp, Luke Bowman, Victoria Bowman and Owen Moss; nieces and nephews Jon (Carmen) Horne, Lynn (James) Buchanan, Jan (Larry) Shepard, Kristin (John) Holstrom, Ted Dils, Dennis (Cynthia) Dils, Kathleen (Troy) Hixon, Rick (Maggie) Raabe, Jan (Fred) Marsh, Jeff Raabe and numerous great nieces and great nephews. Marie graduated in 1942 from Jefferson Twp. High School where she was a cheerleader and May Queen. Following graduation she worked at the phone company, Delco Products and finally served as the Food Supervisor for Miamisburg City Schools until 1981. After retiring, she volunteered at Sycamore Hospital and Salem E. Lutheran Church. Marie loved to read, enjoyed music, watching sports and soaps on TV as well playing BINGO. Family and friends meant the world to her and always brought a smile to her face. Special thanks to all who supported her and our family this past year, especially Pastor Jarl Andeer, Waterford Retirement Community, Sycamore Glen Retirement Center, Sycamore Glen Health Center and Hospice of Miami Valley. Family will receive guest from 10:00-11:00 AM, Tuesday, May 2, 2017 at Gebhart-Schmidt-Parramore Funeral Home, Miamisburg. A graveside service at Ellerton Cemetery, Moraine will follow at 11:30 AM Tuesday.
