Betty J. McCullough Schmitz

age 78 of Miamisburg, OH passed away on Sunday, June 10, 2012 at the Sycamore Glen Health Center. Betty was born on May 11, 1934 in Centerville, OH to the late John Arthur and Grace Voree McCullough. Also preceding her in death are sisters, Phyllis Jean Jeffrey, Sandra Moore and her brother, John McCullough. She is survived by her loving husband of 53 years, Eugene William Schmitz; son, Darrell (Janice) Schmitz; 2 grandchildren; 1 great-grandchild; sisters, Peggy Jo (Leroy) Hensley, Mary Collins, Janice Taylor; brother, Robert Howard (Ruth Ann) McCullough and many nieces, nephews and friends. Betty worked as an accountant with Dayton Walther for 30 years and has been a member of the American Legion Auxiliary #165 and the VFW Auxiliary #3438 for many years. Family will receive guests from 6-8pm on Wednesday, June 13 at Gebhart-Schmidt-Parramore Funeral Home, 508 East Linden Ave. Miamisburg. Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:30 am on Thursday, June 14 at Our Lady of Good Hope Catholic Church, 6 South Third St., Miamisburg with Fr. Terry Meehan celebrant. Interment following at the Miamisburg Catholic Cemetery.
