She was born on April 27, 1949, in Middletown, the daughter of James and Mary (Looker) Lucas. Carole was a 1967 graduate of Franklin High School. She worked at the Mound for many years. Carole loved spending time with her family and friends.
She is survived by her siblings, Richard Lucas (Karen Evers), Marie (Steve) Robison, Janet (Mike) Watson, Jack (Kristi) Lucas, Dale (Marsha) Lucas, and Tim Lucas; brothers-in-law, Phil Herb and Mike Carver; sister-in-law, Jayne Lucas; numerous nieces and nephews; as well as a host of friends.
Carole was preceded in death by her parents; siblings, Kenna Lou Holzen, Jim Lucas, Margaret (Sam) Kinzer, Rebecca Herb, Marla Carver; her nephews, Kevin Herb and Tadd Holzen; and her beloved dog, Lulu.
