Age 34 of Miamisburg, passed away unexpectedly at home on December 30, 2014. He was born October 6, 1980 in Kettering, OH. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Francis & Josephine Leifheit and Charles & Dorothy Short. David is survived by his loving daughter, Danielle and her mother, Erin Goins-Clark; his parents, Rusty & Barb Leifheit of Miamisburg; his brother, Robert of Miamisburg; a niece, Chloe Leifheit and nephew, Tyler Leifheit. He also left many good friends to mourn his death. David was a graduate of Miamisburg High School and was a proud member of the MHS marching band. He was an avid fan of the Miami University hockey team and was a big fan of the New York Rangers and the Pittsburgh Penguins. A funeral service will be held at Gebhart-Schmidt-Parramore Funeral Home, 508 East Linden Ave., Miamisburg on Sat. January 3, 2015 where the family will receive friends for one hour prior to the service at 1:00PM. David requested that he be cremated and his ashes be scattered at Cades Cove in Tennessee.
