Gary Lee Jackson

Jackson, Gary Lee, age 64 of Dayton, passed away Wednesday, July 29, 2015 at Kettering Medical Center. He was born April 30, 1951 in Dayton to the late Charles “Joe” and Georgia Christine (Hall) Jackson. In addition to his parents, Gary was preceded in death by his daughter, Karri Jackson in 1999. He is survived by his daughters, Kelli (John) Johnson of Frankfort and Korri (Phil) McGee of Cashion, OK; grandchildren, Taylour (Morgan) Johnson, John (Chelsey) Johnson, Jr., Konner Johnson, Shelbi Johnson, Kaylee Younkin and Kyle (Taylor) Younkin; great grandchildren, Annabelle, Piper, Talon and Madalynn; a brother, James Jackson of Moraine; nieces, Tammy Bean, Jennifer Jackson and Victoria Jackson and his devoted Labrador, Hannah. Gary was a 1969 graduate of Miamisburg High School and pursued a career as a welder and was employed for some time by Ballard Welding Inc. He eventually retired from GM Truck and Bus after 36 years of service. Gary was also a huge NASCAR fan. Services will be private in accordance with his wishes following cremation.
