James P. Ryon Jr.

RYON, James P., Jr., age 42 of Miami Township, formerly of Des Moines, Iowa passed away suddenly on Monday, January 28, 2013 at his residence. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandmother, Iola Underwood; 3 aunts, including Judy Strait and Karen Navarro and three uncles. James is survived by his parents, Eugene E. and Sandra L. (Post) Potter of Des Moines, IA, his wife of four years, Margarita (Sotelo) Ryon; his sister, Mishelle (Mark) Gerber of Indianola, IA; brothers, Brandon (Jamie) Ryon of Grand River, IA, Howard (Susan) Potter of Altoona, IA and James (Bevin) Potter of Des Moines, IA as well as numerous nieces, nephews and other extended family. James was a 1988 graduate of Saydel High School and enjoyed golfing in his free time. He had been employed by Trebnick and WS Packing of Ohio, Renaissance Mark of Kentucky, Sancoa in New Jersey, and Grace Label and Christian Printers of Des Moines. He attended First Baptist Church Miamisburg where the family will host a memorial service at 11:00 AM Saturday, February 2, 2013 officiated by Pastor Stephen Spurgin. Memorial services will also be held in the Des Moines area and in El Paso, TX at later dates. Memorial contributions may be made to Gebhart-Schmidt-Parramore Funeral Home at 508 E.
