Loretta Ann Baumgardner

Baumgardner, Loretta Ann, age 60 and life-long resident of Miamisburg, passed away Tuesday, February 14, 2012 at Heartland of Miamisburg. She was born November 24, 1951 in Chattanooga, TN to the late Nathan L. and Susie (Miser) Baumgardner. She is survived by her loving sister, Eva Jean (Rick) Foster of Miamisburg; nieces and nephews, Susan Evans of Maine, Richard (Tamyka) Evans of Centerville, Michael (Christy) Evans of Wilmington, Stephanie Evans of Miamisburg, Heather (Gabe) Mecuri of Enon and Christine Foster of Columbus; great nieces and nephews, Matthew, Ryan, Josh, Jake, Breanna, Evan, Trevor, Bailey, Krystian and Alexandra; aunts, Marie Crider of Kentucky and Faye Short of Tennessee and closest friends, Kathy McGowan, Teresa Rider and Martha Ward. Loretta overcame many challenges in her life and did so with grace, generosity and selflessness. She was a wonderful storyteller and animal lover. She was smart, genuine and always full of smiles to share. We are so grateful that “everybody’s sweetheart” is finally whole in her Father’s house. Loretta worked for a time at Kuntz Rd. as an assembler and ribboned in Special Olympics events. Special thanks for the care and support of the nurses and aides of Heartland of Miamisburg, Hospice of Dayton and Dr. David Page. She also attended Miamisburg Assembly of God. Family will receive friends from 11:00am-1:00pm Friday, February 17, 2012 at GEBHART-SCHMIDT-PARRAMORE Funeral Home, Miamisburg. Funeral services will begin 1:00pm on Friday also at the funeral home and officiated by Pastor John Swint. Burial will take place at Hillgrove Cemetery, Miamisburg. Memorial contributions may be made to Miamisburg Youth Center at 224 E. Maple Ave, Miamisburg, OH 45342.
