age 93 of Franklin, Ohio and formerly of Miamisburg passed away on Monday, February 20, 2012. She was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Hicks; parents, Helen and Everett Overholser; a brother, Carl Overholser and a brother-in-law, Darrell Thomas. Margaret is survived by her daughter, Patricia Lucas; son and daughter-in-law, Michael (Darlene) Hicks; 6 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren; siblings, Leonard Overholser, Katharyn Beanblossom, Howard (Kay) Overholser, Reed (Jean) Overholser, Clara Hutchins, Ruth Thomas and several nieces, nephews and cousins. Margaret worked at Frigidaire, as a Sunday School Teacher and with the Cub Scouts. Friends and family may visit from 10am-11am on Wednesday, Feb. 22 at Gebhart-Schmidt-Parramore Funeral Home, 508 East Linden Ave., Miamisburg followed by the funeral service at 11:00 am, also at the funeral home, with Pastor Deb Holder officiating. Interment following at Hillgrove Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to The Hospice of Dayton or St. James United Methodist Church, in Margaret’s memory.
