Martha J. Zech Cable

CABLE, Martha J. (Zech), of Miamisburg formerly of Springboro, passed away Tuesday, April 19, 2011 at Walnut Creek Nursing Center, Miami Township. She was born December 10, 1925 in Miamisburg to the late Ray and Edith (Smith) Zech. In addition to her parents, Martha was preceded in death by her husband, Burl Cable, a brother, Robert Zech and his wife Betty. She is survived by her brother, Jerry (Ruth Ann) Zech of West Carrollton, loving nieces and nephews, Jerri Ann Zink, Dea Clark, Christi (Jeff) Crompton, Eric (Eileen) Zech, Karen (John) Critzer, Kim (Nancy) Zech, Kip (Kimberly) Zech and all their children as well as other extended family and friends. Martha was a Springboro High School graduate and was employed for many years before retiring as an office planner for Karolton Envelope a division of Kimberly Clark. She was a member of the American Legion Post 165 Women’s Auxiliary,, the West Carrollton Senior citizen Center, First Church of the Nazarene, Miamisburg, and Past-President of Miamisburg Helping Hands. Martha also enjoyed playing cards with her friends. In accordance to her wishes, graveside services will be held 10:30 AM Friday, April 22, 2011 at Centerville Cemetery, 68 Maple Ave., Centerville, OH, officiated by Rev. William Coldrion. Burial will follow the service at the cemetery. The family wishes to thank the doctors and nurses and all the staff at Walnut Creek Nursing Center and Assisted Living for their wonderful care, she truly enjoyed her time with all of you.
