Martha Jean Bruck McCormick

McCORMICK, Martha Jean age 57 of Miamisburg, passed away Tuesday, December 2, 2014 at Hospice of Dayton. She was born January 18, 1957 in Hamilton, Ohio to the late Donald P. and Rita M. (Herbers) Bruck. Martha is survived by her husband of 21 years, Rollie A. P. McCormick; sons, William Lee Alcorn and Michael Alcorn both of Miamisburg; grandchildren, Brooklyn, Kailee, Aiden, Marissa and Michael Jr.; siblings, Dorothy Ann (John) Stump of Arizona, Judi Jones of Florida, Donald (Annie) Bruck of West Chester, Mary Jane Toadvine of Miamisburg, Susan Howard of New Mexico and Brian (Ranae) Bruck of Miamisburg; a special nephew, Ken (Julie) Bruck of Franklin and many other extended family members. Martha was a 1975 graduate of Miamisburg High School and worked as a computer programmer at Miami Valley Hospital for 37 years. She was member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles 2306 in Miamisburg and the Miami Valley Community Church, Miamisburg. She served several years as President for the Ladies Auxiliary of the Eagles and will always be remembered for her love of family, cooking and children. Family will receive friends and loved ones during a visitation from 5:00-7:00 PM Thursday, December 4, 2014 at Gebhart-Schmidt-Parramore Funeral Home, Miamisburg. Funeral services will follow at 7:00 PM also at the funeral home and officiated by Pastor Sandra Hilty. The family will honor Martha’s wishes of a private cremation. The McCormick family will host a life celebration gathering from 6:00-8:00 PM Friday, December 5, 2014 at the Miamisburg Eagles in memory of Martha.
