Mildred "Mickey" T. Hemmelgarn Rammel

RAMMEL, Mildred T. “Mickey”, age 93, a resident of Miamisburg, passed away Saturday, December 3, 2011 at Hospice of Butler and Warren Counties, Franklin. Mickey was born April 17, 1918 to the late Anthony and Louise (Buehler) Hemmelgarn in New Weston, Ohio. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband of 67 years, James W. Rammel (2008) and sisters, Florence Hemmert and Helen Bradley. She is survived by her sons, Dale Rammel of Miamisburg and Denny (Barbara) Rammel of Chicago, IL; grandchildren, Jeff (Debbie) Rammel, Tina Calcopietro and Michelle Rammel and great grandchildren, Jamie Rammel, Kelsie Rammel, Marie Calcopietro, and Cecily Calcopietro. She was a devoted mother and homemaker and was a member of Our Lady of Good Hope Catholic Church. Family will receive friends during visitation scheduled for 5:00-7:00 PM Thursday, December 8 at the GEBHART-SCHMIDT-PARRAMORE Funeral Home, Miamisburg. Prayers will precede services 9:30 AM Friday, December 9, 2011 at the funeral home followed by 10:30 AM Mass of Christian Burial at Our Lady of Good Hope Catholic Church with Father Tom Nevels as Celebrant. Burial will take place at Our Lady of Good Hope Cemetery, Miamisburg. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be to Hospice of Dayton (as an affiliate of Hospice of Butler and Warren Counties) at 324 Wilmington Ave., Dayton, Ohio 45420 in Mickey’s memory.
