

Her Loving family included her husband of 34 years Richard Thornell (deceased), Stepchildren: Pamela Maurico, Robin Bullock, Rick Thornell, Brian Thornell and Robert Thornell (deceased), many grandchildren and great grandchildren. Brother Rod Cooper, Amy Vance and nieces Ciara, Cheyenne and Cienna. Sister Elizabeth Bentley (Mike), Brothers Paul Fields and Steven Fields.
Patty had a love for dance and was very proud that she got the opportunity to try out for the Rockettes in New York City. She worked for DESC for many years receiving multiple awards for her achievements. Patty was diagnosed with MS over 30 years ago, but she did not let that define who she was and what she could do. She loved golfing, attending Dayton Dragon games, Red Hats, shopping, taking trips and being with family.
Patty was an amazing Wife, Stepmom, Sister, Nana and Grandma. Patty’s entire family is very grateful for the care and support Touching Hearts at Home and Hospice of Dayton provided to her and the family.
Visitation will be from 11:00 am - 12:00 pm Tuesday, December 3, 2024 at Gebhart-Schmidt-Parramore Funeral Home, Miamisburg, Ohio. A funeral service will be held at 12:00 pm at the funeral home with Pastor Stephen Spurgin officiating. Graveside services will follow at Glen Haven Memorial Gardens, New Carlisle, Ohio.
