

Norris II, Robert J. “Bob”, age 70 of Miamisburg, passed away Tuesday, November 27, 2012 at Hospice of Dayton. He was born July 25, 1942 in Dayton to the late Richard Kimerle and Essie Henderson (Locke) Norris. In addition to his parents, Bob was preceded in death by his half-brother, Raymond Slade. He is survived by his wife of 45 years, Marsha E. (Bickford) Norris; his sons, Paul Norris of West Carrollton and Chris (Mindy) Norris of Union and a grandson, Colton James. Bob was a 1960 graduate of Patterson Coop and Belmont High Schools and attended Dayton University. He also honorably served our country in the US Air Force. Bob was a member of Our Lady of Good Hope Church and American Legion Post 165. He was employed by Monarch Marking for a number of years and later for Machine Products Corp. retiring in 2005. Bob enjoyed playing company league softball, fishing, building model cars and working on automobiles. Family will receive friends during a memorial gathering on Saturday, December 1, 2012 from 2:00 – 4:00 PM. A Memorial Mass will be scheduled at a later date in recognition of his faith. A private cremation will finalize services per family wishes. Memorial Contributions may be made to Hospice of Dayton at 324 Wilmington Ave., Dayton, OH 45420.
