Ruth Ann Hill Bell

BELL, Ruth Ann, age 72 of Miamisburg passed away Thursday June 30, 2016 at her home surrounded by her devoted family and Crossroads Hospice caregivers. Ruth was born on July 12, 1943 to the late Victor and Charlotte (McNabb) Hill. In addition to her parent's, Ruth was preceded in death by her sister, Catherine Garrett and her brother, Allen Hill. She is survived by her devoted husband of 52 years, Floyd Bell; daughters, Sherry Hill of Miamisburg and Lisa (Eric) Oditt both of Miamisburg and 3 loving grandchildren Jacob and Caleb Hill and Madyson Duncan. She is also survived by her sister, Jenny Scott of Florida, a brother, Leroy (Susan) Hill of Miamisburg as well as numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives. Ruth attended Miamisburg Schools, worked for Cassano's Pizza for many years and many area grocery stores in their Meat Departments such as Kroger Savon, Chmiel's, Freedom foods and Main St. Market. Ruth enjoyed bowling and doing her own ceramics. She was always making ceramic trinkets for all her family and friends. Ruth was a devoted Wife, Mother, Mamaw, Sister, Aunt and Friend. She was always taking care of the people she loved and putting herself last. Honest, loyal and straight to the point; that was Ruth. She will be missed by many. A Memorial Service will be held at 6:00 pm Tuesday, July 12, 2016 at The Block Church on Ninth St. Miamisburg and officiated by Mr. Anthony Abner. A family hosted memorial reception will follow.
