

She was born on May 5, 1947, in Dayton, the daughter of William and Freda (Bothe) Risner.
Sandy was a great wife and mother. She enjoyed going to Bingo, the casino, and was a member of the Miamisburg Yahtzee Club for over 40 years. Sandy was a longtime member of Salem Lutheran Church in Ellerton. Over the years, she worked at Cub Foods, Century House, and Dillman’s. She will be greatly missed by her husband and family.
She is survived by her loving husband of 57 years, Bruce Dixon; children, Steve (Marsha) Risner, Lisa (Terry) Risner Taylor, Bruce (Dena) Dixon, and Brad Dixon; grandchildren, Kendra, Rebecca, Andrea, Jamie, Tyler, Katie, Taylor, Anthony, Kayla, Jessica, and Justin; great grandchildren, Kaia, Ava, Logan, Braxton, Stella, Brianna, Conner, Wieland, Theodore, Mia, Maddox, Paislee, Liam, Emma, Jolee, and Braylon; sisters-in-law, Sondra (Mick) Stone and Herma Puckett; several nieces and nephews; as well as special friends, Valerie Dopel and Kelly Wells.
Sandy was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, William and Michael Risner; son-in-law, Danny Manning.
A gathering of family and friends will be held from 11 AM – 1 PM on Monday, December 8, 2025, at GEBHART-SCHMIDT-PARRAMORE Funeral Home, Miamisburg. Funeral services will follow at 1 PM. Burial will take place at Ellerton Cemetery, Moraine.
