Sandra Jean Rudy Weidner

Weidner, Sandra Jean age 76 of Miamisburg, passed away Thursday, September 29, 2016 at Hospice of Butler and Warren Counties. She was born November 24, 1939 in Pemberton, OH to the late Charles William Sr. and Catherine (Rickey) Rudy. In addition to her parents, Sandra was preceded in death by a son, Bill “Buff” Weidner in 1979 and a brother, Jim Rudy. She is survived by her husband of 56 years, Lee Weidner; her son, Jerry Weidner of Miamisburg; grandchildren, Nicole (Brian) DeGroat and Megan (Jon) Unthank; great grandchildren, Blaine and Riley; brother, Bill (Pam) Rudy of Sidney and in-laws, Sharon Rudy of Sidney, Joyce (Joe) Woolf of Miamisburg and Dick (Harriette) Weidner of Tennessee as well as nieces and nephews. Sandra was a 1957 graduate of Fairlawn High School and graduated from the Miami Valley Nursing School in 1960. She worked as a registered nurse her entire career serving several area businesses including Dr. Ron Myers, Miamisburg Family Practice, Monsanto and Miamisburg City Schools. Sandra enjoyed reading books, spending time with family and collecting pigs. She was a member of Trinity Church and will be greatly missed. Family will receive guests during visitation from 12:00-2:00 pm Monday, October 3, 2016 at Gebhart-Schmidt-Parramore Funeral Home, Miamisburg. Funeral services will follow at 2:00 pm also at the funeral home and officiated by Pastor Joe Getts. Hillgrove cemetery, Miamisburg will serve as her final resting place.
