

She was a 1947 graduate of Miamisburg High School. After high school, she worked at her family’s business, Korn’s Korner, where she met her future husband while he was delivering ice blocks. Wanda worked for Delco Moraine up until her daughter, Lee Ann Atkinson was born. She enjoyed roller skating, bowling, family auto racing, and traveling. Wanda was known for her kind heart, generosity and her love for her family.
Wanda is survived by her loving husband of 73 years, Ray “Dick” Hamlin; daughter, Lee Ann Atkinson; grandson, Tyler Atkinson and his father, Steve Atkinson; great grandchildren, Kyndal, Quinn, and Cru Atkinson, and their mother, Madalyn; nieces and nephews, Robin Korn, David Eastridge, and Doug Eastridge; great nephew, Gary Korn and great niece, Jessica Korn; as well as a host of extended family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Harold “Red” Korn and Anna May (Getter) Korn; siblings, Robert Korn and Nancy Eastridge; great nephew, Bobby Korn.
A gathering of family and friends will be held from 12 – 1 PM on Thursday, April 14, 2022 at GEBHART-SCHMIDT-PARRAMORE Funeral Home, Miamisburg. A funeral service will follow at 1 PM. Burial will follow at Hillgrove Cemetery, Miamisburg.
