Thank you I know everyone is in pain and it will really affect them today and tomorrow but, I feel the grief everyday and I know it will be hard to get over him. Although I'm not there now in November I hope to see you all. I may take a trip down there so I can see Jayde, Ethan, Felisha and everyone else.

My father was one person i cherished in my life... aside from my mom... I care so much and I know that everyone is heart broken I just wanted to tell him i loved him one more time, I was to late. Every night I've been staying up crying blaming myself for not saying I love you one more time... Me and him barely started talking again and then a freak accident happened... although he wasn't my best friends dad he (my best friend) thought of my dad as a father figure.

Dear Kierren,  I am terribly terribly sorry for the loss of your dad. Such a loss will take a long time to heal and you have many hard days ahead.   I am your Grandma Dena's cousin.   I knew your dad when he was a little boy.  He had the best personality and heart.  One thing I know about your dad is he loved you more than you can imagine.  If I can offer some insight regarding those we love. . .they never leave us, they literally become a part of us.  God Bless you, and may you find comfort in the days ahead in knowing that you have a wonderful family that loves you very much.  Love you, cousin Rosemarie

Adam was my best friend growing up.  He was always ready to play catch or head to Drakefield Park to hit some balls.  Went walking with him on his paper route a few times, spent a lot of good times together. He was taken way to soon and I don't know why but God has a plan and he was needed in heaven apparently! Love you brother! â¤ ðŸ’™

Adam grew up with my children.  He was a good friend to them, and always a joy to have around.  I remember him as a sweet, happy, good-natured young man.  I was very touched that he thought enough of me to stop by and visit a few times after he became an adult and joined the military.   His family should be so proud of the man he became.  I'm so sad for his family, and my heart just breaks for his children and fiancee.  Prayers for all of you.

I was selling my pool table and of course I am a Pittsburgh Steelers fan so my pool table was Black&Yellow. I called Adam to come help take pool table apart, and of course he said yes!! So when he drove all the way to Wickliffe,  and saw the color of the pool table...... ðŸ˜ you can imagine the trash talk he did while taking it apart for me!! I always loved you like my baby brother Adam and sure will miss our trash talk about our rival teams.

Full of Life Soldier...always had a smile on his face no matter where you saw him at. 

We stood up a new unit from the ground up...I was one of the first individual assigned as the 1SG for HHC...as the soldiers were being assigned...I met him and we hit it off day one.

He would always have a smart word for you...but in a quite way...lol. Definitely going to be missed...and my Deepest Condolences to the family and friends that lost one of the Best person you could have ever known.

SIP my friend...glad to have known...led and served with you...your old 1SG.

Adam Brinkhoff you were my second pain in the butt behind Thornberry. My first days on the job as your Platoon SGT, I want to kick you both out. But I knew I had to get you ready for the hell that was coming- Iraq! You were always there to test my leadership that usually didnâ€™t turn out to good for you! But your grew up and manned up once we touched down in Iraq. You were my eyes and ears and kept me up on situations while I was outside the wire. We had long talks about your future and the changes you needed to make. Even many years after the Army we would still ramp it up playing CoD on Xbox. I was really looking forward to hanging out with you when I returned from Kuwait in a year. Seeing you as a married man. The world will not be the same without Brink and your humor! You and Thornberry save me a seat at the table in Valhalla my brother, and we can have a beer and catch up. RIP Adamâ€¦

I met Adam once at Ft Bliss. I rem his big smile and his kindness. He was a good friend to my son. I will pray for his family and his fiance. May God bring them peace.

Adam was the first person I met with CSC Cleveland. 2 of our youth football players had ditched us at Browns Training Camp in Lebrea. While we walked, we laughed and talked about the 2 boys, he knew where they were. I told him my history with CSC in other cities. Adam encouraged me to join the team in Cleveland. My second year in Cleveland I earned a supervisor position. Adam always made sure to check on me to assure I was comfortable with my position. His heart was genuine. His smile and laugh infectious. I will miss you my friend. Thank you for always having my back. Rest peacefully. Prayers to all your family, friends and loved ones. You shall never be forgotten.

I served as a Medic for Adams unit in our Iraq ðŸ‡®ðŸ‡¶ tour 2006-2007. My wife and I kept in contact with him quite often. We are going to miss you big guy. Doc Lafnear

I remember Adam as a kind person, a gentle giant to my 5â€™3â€ size. But he was always the first to offer his hand to help, always looking to support our unit. He was a kind soul. The kind of person who quietly went about his work but always offered help of some sort. 

I remember during our 2-12 CAV 10 year reunion, the big white tent was blown away by the wind, chasing Adam down the parade field. We all covered our eyes as the tent overtook him thinking he was going to be hurt, but he lucked out and it blew right over. Quite the spectacle to see but thankful he didnâ€™t get hurt. He was a good sport and lived to tell the tale. 

And then there was the time I stopped along my 7-hour route to catch a cup of coffee in Wooster. Still old Adam - friendly and a familiar face. I appreciated him reaching out and happy we were able to meet up. 

His kindness was unmatched. Thatâ€™s what I will always remember about Adam. 

My condolences. We lost one of the best of us.
