Alfred S. Miller

He is the beloved husband of 63 years to Ruth (nee Hradovicky); loving father of Jeffrey, Joseph (deceased) and James (Lori) Miller; cherished grandfather of Emilie Miller and Simon Goldner; dear brother of Edwin (Carol) Miller and brother-in-law of Raymond (Judy) Radovic; adored uncle of Deborah (Matt) Bunsey, Daniel Miller, Debbie (Greg) McCully, David Miller, Denise Miller, Douglas Miller and Deanna (Chris) Ballantine.

Alfred was employed with the US Postal Service where he was a Postman, Postal Credit Union Loan Officer, Postal Route Examiner, USPS Union Rep., and a Branch Manager of many Post Office locations retiring from the Strongsville office following 30 years of service. He was a member and past President of the Cleveland Diocese Holy Name Society and a member of St. Peter Apostle Church, now Mary Queen of the Apostles in Brook Park. He was a fan of all sports and supported all of Cleveland’s teams. He also enjoyed golf and bowling. He most loved and enjoyed his time with his family leaving many memories to treasure.

As per the family’s request, services for Alfred will be private. He will be laid to rest at Holy Cross Cemetery in Brook Park.
