Im quite late in adding a memory but Im still using air so Ill talk.
Curtis worked hard and smart. He loved Taking care of his family and cherished his sweet Judy.  All men were equal in Curts eyes so long as they were good workers and honest.
We had a strange mix up family growing up and I was not  Curts blood. But i believe he was proud i called him papaw just lI'llke his other kids.

i was blessed to have you for my dad...my earthly father was an awesome father...he supplied for his family..i will miss the strong hands that held me and the soft hand i held the last time i saw you.we have the blesssed hope that i will see you again...miss you already,,,tell momma and granny hi.

Uncle Curt was always so much fun. His smile and humor was always appreciated. He was a high energy person. The service was lovely and you paid him a well-deserved tribute.  Uncle James was in the hospital and was sorry he could not be with all of you. I brought him copies of Uncle Curt's memorial card that same evening and shared the memorial service with him. Uncle James sends his deepest sympathies on the loss of your dad. Our fond memories of Uncle Kurt will last a lifetime until we see him in Heaven with our Lord.

I thought of you with love today, but that is nothing new. I thought about you yesterday, and days before that too. I think of you in silence, I often speak your name. All I have are memories and your picture in a frame. Your memory is my keepsake, with which I'll never part. God has you in his keeping, I have you in my heart !!! I must say I had one of the best Papaws of all time. He was funny and witty and he loved his family. Family was always a priority for Pappy and he will always be remembered by me and my siblings as present in his children's and grandchildren's lives. Pappy helped my parents to build things at our homes and he helped fix things when they were broken. He taught me the value of hard work and I will always remember that! He came to all of my graduation parties and events and even gave me a dollar when I would hug him while he was dirty! I never wanted that dollar, just my hug but it sure is a funny thing to remember now that I'm grown. Pappy will be missed by all but remembered fondly. I will never forget all of his quirks and jokes and how he could light up a room with his smile!!!
