Dearly beloved husband of 60 years to Angie (nee Gallo), loving father of Dawn (Kris) McDevitt and David (deceased) (Christie) Dieckman, dearest PaPa of David and Caleb Dieckman and Kristian and Kayleigh McDevitt, dear brother of Donita (Frank, deceased) Glinski, Daniel (deceased) (Marilyn) Dieckman, Diane (deceased)(Jerry, deceased) Pragg, and Debbie (deceased) Dieckman, dearest brother in law of Jimmy (Donna) Gallo, Dominic (deceased) (Diane) Gallo, Vancey (deceased) (Tom, Deceased) McDonnell, dear uncle, cousin and friend of many. Family meant everything to David. whether you were born into it married into it or if he decided you were in it. David loved his garden, cooking, and was proud of his service in the US Army. Always had visiting friends and neighbors, enjoyed spending quality time with his family and welcoming people in his home.
Family will receive relatives and friends Friday, July 8, 2022, from 10:30 until time of Mass at 11:30 AM at St. Joseph Catholic Church 12700 Pearl Rd. Strongsville, Ohio 44136
Private committal Service for David will be held with full Military Honors at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery at a later date.
