David Kercher

David was survived by his wife of 53 years, Susan; children, Kieran (Dustin) Kercher-Harrison and Chris (Lindsey) Kercher; grandchildren, Emery DiBartolomeo and Gracie and Delaney Kercher; siblings, Michael (the late Carolyn), Donna Kercher, Catherine (Tom) Theiss, Becky (Jack) Zorich and Joe (Kim) Kercher.

David was a Vietnam veteran and a retired Middleburg Heights police officer. He was an avid outdoorsman who loved hunting and fishing with his son. He was a proud Papa to his girls and the most generous husband, father, and friend.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations to Catholic Charities (www.ccdocle.org) or to the Saint Vincent DePaul Society at Saint John Bosco Church.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday, December 23, 2025, at 10 AM at St. John Bosco Church, 6480 Pearl Road, Parma Heights, OH 44130. PRIVATE Inurnment will take place at a later at the Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery. The family will receive friends on MONDAY EVENING, December 22, 2025 from 4 - 7 PM at the A. RIPEPI & SONS' FUNERAL HOME, 18149 BAGLEY ROAD, MIDDLEBURG HTS., OH 44130 (WEST OF I-71).
